Having firmly established ourselves as Herefordshire’s leading courier service for the next day collection and delivery of packages we are now in a position to offer additional services including warehouse storage, distribution and fulfilment. From receipt of your products and inventory we will ensure that your stock is handled, processed (pick and pack) and despatched with great care and attention to detail. Outsourcing your fulfilment has become a definitive means of saving both time and money and we have the capabilities to store, process and despatch daily without a compromise on the service you have come to know and love.
The services we provide are as follows:
We can except deliveries into our warehouse between the hours of 8am and 12 noon via courier, van, trailer or container and no additional charge will be made for the unloading of pallet deliveries at our premises. Ideally we would like to be advised of when we are expecting deliveries along with approximate quantities of either boxes or pallets.
With APC Hereford your stock is in very safe hands and our I.T system will ensure that your stock is constantly monitored and tracked. We will always know exactly where and how your stock is located in our warehouse, your stock levels and when you need to restock. We will carry out a daily stock check and stock inventory reports can be provided on a daily, weekly, monthly or as and when required basis.
We will use your existing product codes if applicable so that they are easily identifiable and there are no initial charges for the loading of your data into the system.
Receiving Your Orders
The most efficient way for us to receive and process your orders is to integrate your own order system with Netdespatch via a bespoke software program, which we will provide. This is compatible with most systems and works by downloading each order in csv format. We will provide all the necessary I.T support in order to ensure a smooth transition from your current way of despatching without affecting your customers. Should a csv file format not be suitable we can receive orders via email. Again, there is no charge for the setting up of the import/export system.
Pick & Pack
Any orders received by noon will be processed and despatched the same day. Despatch will be via the APC Overnight network on the appropriate service and can be tracked via Netdespatch using your order reference.
We will agree a further packing specification with you prior to services commencing. It is very important to us that consignments are packaged securely for transit to avoid possible damage and therefore the utmost care will be taken when providing a pick and pack service.
Included in the price for our fulfilment service will be all packaging and labelling materials including boxes, loose fill, tape and bubble wrap where appropriate.
Shipping & Delivery
All products are sent via the APC Overnight network which offers a full range of delivery services are also available in addition to standard next day, which includes pre 9am, pre 10am and pre noon guaranteed.
We will monitor each and every delivery we despatch and where consignments are undelivered owing to premises being closed we will endeavour to rearrange redelivery wherever possible. In the event of a problem arising we will contact you to resolve. Personalised, dedicated email addresses and phone numbers are available upon request.
Once your products arrive in our warehouse our own buildings and contents insurance automatically cover them. Once they have been despatched for delivery the cover then transfers to APC Overnight under standard terms and conditions of carriage. Any representative from your company is welcome to visit our premises at any time during operational hours if they wish to view / inspect any stock held.
Payment and Terms
Our approach to fulfilment is a flexible pay as you go solution with no contracts, no set up fees and no minimum invoice values. Our simple pay as you go rate including pick, pack and despatch allows you complete flexibility to deal with seasonal trends. Our goal is to provide flexible order fulfilment solutions to meet your needs and the cost is often lower than the cost of trying to perform this function in-house.
Pick & Pack Guarantee
We strive for perfection in everything we do and we try hard to minimise error wherever possible, especially through the pick and pack process. That’s why we will store all of your products together so that they can be easily located, and what’s more we will use the same staff each day to carry out your fulfilment to help nurture a product knowledge therefore improving accuracy.
If we do make an error we will:
- Refund your original pick and pack charge
- Process a replacement order free of charge
- Cover the cost of shipping the replacement
- Arrange collection of your original items
With no standing charges for storage we work on a simple “pay per order” system invoiced directly to you on a weekly basis.
